Waylo Cattle & Cabrito

Red Angus Cattle
The majority of our cow herd is made up of CHIEFLINE Red Angus.
We have had many chances to switch to another breed, but feel
these cows help us reach our goals of producing functional cattle
that meet the demand of the consumer.  We expect every cow to
calve unassisted and raise and wean a calf every year.  This is
done in range conditions with minimal inputs.  Not many cows can
keep up with the strict culling criteria we put on our herd. The
ones we keep offer excellent genetic traits.  Through the years
we have added Simmental genetics to our cow base and have
been excited about the cross-breeding program.  Our Sim-Angus
heifers have exploited the heterosis of the two breeds.  If you
need to add profitability to your herd, let us help you with a bull
or heifer.
This range-raised Chiefline
bull is a yearling.   We
expect our cattle to maintain
themselves with minimal
inputs.  We welcome your
inquiries.  Cattle sold by
private treaty only.
Our calves are born unassisted.  They
become growthy, structurally correct
functional females.  Each heifer maintains
a sound utter and foot throughout her
productive life.  Red Angus are known for
their stayability.  We have cows weaning
heavy calves that are 10+ years old.
Fertility and durablilty are the staying
power of our cattle.
We will be selling three 18 month old bulls in the
Western Oklahoma All Breeds Bull Sale in Cheyenne,
OK.  Here is a chance to pick up some solid  red
genetics!
We are proud members of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
