Hunting
Hunts will be available beginning the fall of the
2008 season.  Book now, dates are going fast!
We offer hunts and hunting packages at the ranch in Wheeler County.
We are blessed to have sufficient brush and cover for abundant
wildlife.  Whitetail Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, Bobwhite Quail and
Mourning Dove call this place home where shin oak and cedar grow
on the rolling terrain.  All hunts are fair chase and we do not utilize a
game fence, but have implemented management programs for the
last 7 years.  All package hunts include lodging and meals.  This is a
great way to experience Texas panhandle wildlife and hunting.  
Whitetail Deer
The typical deer hunt starts before daylight for the morning hunt,
returning for lunch and a nap or rest and then going back out for the
evening hunt.  We utilize elevated and ground blinds near travel
routes and feeding areas.  Typical hunts are 2-3 days.  Call for pricing.
Dove
If you enjoy wingshooting, the mourning dove that migrate through
the ranch offer a great way to start the hunting season.  Water holes
allow for busy flyways and bag limits are easily obtained.
Typical hunts are 2-3 days.  Package hunts are available.
Single day hunts are $75.
Quail
The habitat at the ranch is excellent for bobwhite quail.  Shinnery
thickets offer cover and bugging areas for the birds.  No dogs are
provided, so bring your own.  Typical hunts are 2-3 days.  Package
hunts are available.  Single day hunts are $100.
Turkey
The Rio Grande Turkey flourishes on the ranch.  Several roosts and
fields entice the turkeys to "take over" the ranch each year.   It is not
uncommon to see over 50 birds in a flock.
$750 for a 3 day package
* A 50 % deposit is required to book a hunt and the balance is due 30 days prior to hunt.                    
* All deposits are non-refundable.
* All wounded animals are considered dead and must be paid in full.
